Job Description…

The Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate and administer all Training plans for the HRD Department.
  • Plan and Implement Annual Retail Legislative Training Calendar.
  • Support in Conducting of Annual Training Needs Analysis across Retailers.
  • Be the liaison between all Retailers and independently contracted Skills Development Facilitators.
  • Support SDF’s with all Academy Accredited Programme Administration and Coordination.
  • Support in the upload and tracking of WSP/ATR and Discretionary Grant Applications.
  • Track Learner Progress and Status as per SDF Monthly Report.
  • Manage all training logistics (including suitable dates, venues, refreshments, learning material, equipment, stationary, related transport, scheduling etc.).
  • Reconcile all Academy Training Interventions charges and submit to finance for processing.
  • File all training documents in accordance with Training Quality Management System (TQMS) and BBBEE standards.
  • Manage Retail Training budget allocation.
  • Capture all training records on HR Manage as required.
  • Present and Distribute Monthly Retail Training Report.
  • Coordinate and Administer Annual Graduation Ceremony.
  • Maintain a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders to optimize Corporate Social Initiative (CSI).
  • Visit at least 2 Projects per month to consolidate and show our support.
  • Assess opportunities for contributions to support our Retailer initiatives.
  • Maintain a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders to optimize Corporate Social Initiative (CSI).
  • Manage and optimize the CSI budget.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests in supporting various sectors of the community (30% CSI budget).
  • Assist the Chairperson of the Social Responsibility Committee with all detail necessary for the committee to function properly.
  • File CSI documentation in accordance with BBBEE standards.
  • Update Annual BBBEE Supplier List.
  • Present and Distribute Monthly CSI Report.

Qualification & Experience

Minimum requirements

  • Matric Certificate (Essential)
  • Skills Development Facilitator (Advantageous)
  • Office Administration Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Training Coordinator/Administrator
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accredited Training Environment

    • Reviews and optimizes ordering and delivery system settings and parameters to ensure stock level, working capital, and DC space utilization and Cost to Serve model efficiency is maximized.
    • Engages the DC Supply Chain on special projects or initiatives to improve efficiency of items.
    • Supports Category Managers with promotional forecasting, and drives promotional ordering, in-stock and stock level management.
    • Manages the order input of all special buy-in orders to ensure alignment with profitability, in-stock and stock performance targets and parameters.
    • Uses internal and external data to provide relevant analysis and reports to support category, item and supplier performance review and decision making.
    • Develops strategic business relationships with stakeholders (buying team, DC, Suppliers and, retailers) to align and improve the business.
      Manage the stock quality and quantity in support of the category, and supply chain strategy through effective planning and forecasting of sales and purchases, and effective stock management. This must be executed with the objective of driving continued sales and profit growth whilst optimizing working capital.
