Are you a dynamic, driven and highly organised creative who can manage complex projects, get the best out of suppliers and apply their own creative skills to delivering high-quality, authentic content? Looking for an exciting and rewarding new career opportunity?
If so, Nesta is looking for a Content Producer to join us and play a crucial part in helping to curate and develop new content for Nesta, with an emphasis on creative commissioning alongside in-house content production.
We are Nesta. The UK’s innovation agency for social good. We design, test and scale new solutions to society’s biggest problems, changing millions of lives for the better.
We confront challenges that affect millions of people, from chronic childhood inequality to ill-health and the climate crisis.
We believe that innovation is more possible now than ever before. We see opportunities to mobilise citizens and influence behaviour. A wealth of private and public capital that can be used more creatively. Pools of data to mine.
And so we draw on these rich resources by bringing together multidisciplinary teams: data scientists, designers and behavioural scientists, practitioners at the frontline, academics; and people with lived experience.
Together, we design, test and scale new solutions to society’s biggest problems. We partner with frontline organisations, build new businesses and work to change whole systems. Harnessing the rigour of science and the creativity of design, we work relentlessly to put ideas to the test.

Commission content from freelancers and third party creative agencies, including project management, brief writing, and reviewing creative work
Be responsible for the in-house creation of a range of high quality, high impact digital assets (e.g. audio and video clips, and infographics).
Act as a source of expertise on in-house content creation, empowering and supporting the wider communications team to create great content themselves.
What we are looking for
You will have a proven record of commissioning and creating powerful, creative and emotionally compelling content for a range of different audiences and extensive experience of managing the entire production process from planning and producing content to the full post-production process. You will also have strong project management skills, experience of briefing film and/or photographic shoots and managing suppliers to deliver high quality, impactful content that meets the brief.
An outstanding communicator, you will have the ability to create simple digital content assets and experience of uploading content to a website via a CMS, while strong networking and relationship building skills and a positive, flexible and professional approach to your work are also vital.
