Our front-line team supports 3 million LEGO® customers from around the world every single year. We have multiple starting dates throughout the year so why not come and join the fun as an English-speaking advisor at our Slough Customer Contact Centre?
This is a fixed-term contract until the end of January 2022 with the potential to become permanent. The working days are Monday to Friday from 1.00pm to 9.15pm, and you would be working either a Saturday or a Sunday every other weekend.About The Role

Our Customer Service Advisors handle customer questions from across the world. Every day is different, we handle queries about up-and-coming product launches, enquiries about our online shop through to troubleshooting our digital products such as LEGO Boost and the LEGO Life App. On average a colleague supports 40 customers every day so it’s busy, but we have fun and remain true to our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.Covid-19 situation – We are aware of the uncertainty the current situation brings. Our recruitment, onboarding and training will all be done virtually, and our teams are currently safely working from home until we can go back to our office in Slough.

Core Responsibilities

  • As an English-speaking advisor you will join a team whose working hours are Monday to Friday from 1.00pm to 9.15pm, and you would be working either a Saturday or a Sunday every other weekend. This team primarily supports our US consumers.
  • Engaging with our shoppers and consumers to increase customer loyalty through multiple channels including Phone, Email and Web Chat.
  • Representing the LEGO brand through our unique tone of voice and following call and writing handling models when communicating with children and adults alike
  • Proficient in assessing verbal and written scenarios quickly and solving problems using a variety of tools available to you
  • Prioritising and multitasking to meet our customers’ expectations
  • Accurately logging the outcome of your interactions and adhering to GDPR and Child Safeguarding.

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification or working experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a consumer facing role
  • Proficiency using a computer and the Windows 10 OS
  • Excellent people skills and emotional intelligence

  • Resilient mindset and able to work in a fast-paced environment

LEGO Jobs Core responsibilities

  • Point of contact for employee life cycle situations (e.g. letters, fill in forms, docs saving).
  • Employee Relations admin – letters, investigation, long-term sickness and weekly vacancy list.
  • Administration support for primary and non-primary childcare (maternity & paternity).
  • Admin of local benefits (e.g. invoices on fuel, Merlin passes, occupational health, length of service, etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring e-record and ad-hoc filing are up to date and accurate. Support audits finding relevant material.
  • Cooperate with our Business Service Organization (BSO) in handling day-to-day ad-hoc questions.
  • General support (understanding of rules and regulations, build knowledge of local policies & processes. Provide info where needed, resolve issues, etc.).
  • Simplify and optimize local processes.
  • Create HR vendors, follow up on payments.
  • Support our GDPR agenda by documenting new processes, get documents signed, working in a compliant way.
  • Any ad-hoc HR tasks.

The Partnering & Operations organization covers PO&D (HR) business partnering and local operations that include employee relations, benefits, policies and execution. The Partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with our strategic direction. The Operations organization serves as a backbone to enable the partners and the business in providing relevant solutions on people processes respecting geographical and site nuances.

Within a regional team of 14 employees spread across different locations, you will be part of a local team of 4 (in Slough) who covers the entire UK. Our purpose is to support the Nordic & Western Europe regions with HR Operational activities and local benefits. We also act as competence center and support to our Business Service Operations (BSO) in Kladno, who handle the transactional topics such as general payroll and master data.
