Position

We are looking for a motivated and well-organised team player to join our Marketing team on a 1 year fixed term contract. Acting as the first point of contact for the team, you will judge priorities effectively and respond to the requests of the team in a proactive manner. The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to projects and presentations, and create key marketing and PR materials. You will be an excellent communicator who will be able to listen and understand the needs of our key internal and external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity if you love to get stuck in and work across a wide and varied range of projects, such as:

  • Providing general administration support to the wider Marketing & Communications Team
  • Conducting research and help with the creation of presentations around key business initiatives
  • Contributing to key projects and day-to-day operational activities across the Marketing and Communications team
  • Organising and seeking relevant information to populate key company documents and provide monthly business updates
  • Creating up to date and visually engaging documents as specified by the Head of Marketing, ensuring that the Jamie Oliver brand positioning an representation is in line with the brand values and guidelines
  • Executing internal communications plans, which will include email send outs to all-staff, desk drops and staff event incentives around TV & Book launches
  • Supporting the circulation of UK and International market materials such as marketing assets, photography, programme synopsis, PR recipes and press releases
  • Working closely with the in house Art and Editorial teams to help coordinate the delivery of recipe layouts and communicate the feedback to external partners

Requirements

  • You’ll have either a Degree in Marketing or PR or some relevant experience gained in a busy press office or agency
  • Previous working knowledge of either MS Office applications (ie: Excel, Powerpoint) or Google Suite (ie: Google Slides. Google Sheets)
  • Previous experience in an Assistant, Personal Administrator or Coordinator role would be highly desirable
  • Photoshop or Email Systems experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent administration skills with perfect attention to detail
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
