Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the Group Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy and policies
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the function
• Manage and enable strategic supplier relationships
• Align Group SCM activities to support SA Post office business strategy
• Develop and monitor SCM risk management strategy
• Influence SCM impacting stakeholder relationships
• Direct and manage major spend sourcing and contract negotiations
• Direct and manage SCM best practises implementation
• Ensure the efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in
accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, company specific policies and regulations, national
legislation, fraud prevention and risk management principles, Corporate Governance, Skills
development, Delegation of authority, etc..

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements, Skills & Attitudes

• Honours Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Commercial (NQF Level 8)
• 10 years in senior strategic management position. Proven track record in running an entity or large
division

Knowledge and understanding of:
• Understanding of public affairs / public policy
• Commercial awareness
• Understand the concept of customer satisfaction
• Strategy development, deployment, planning and communications
• Project management (principles, practices, techniques and tools)
• Best practices in Market
• Organisational development, management techniques and good business practices
• Financial Management
• Value Chain Management
• Risk and Compliance management
• Relevant statutes, rules and regulations

Job Description…

Manages a HR Transaction and Administrative Centre for all administrative employee matters.
• Manage Payroll administration and execution in adherence to all statutory requirements eg, PAYE, UIF, TAX etc.
• Manage the outsourced payroll function, regular interaction with outsource payroll-provider.
• Research, design and implement compensation model and benefits strategies/policies inclusive of performance reward programs and ensure alignment with organisational requirements.
• Implement and take responsibility for annual salary reviews
• Responsible for designing and delivering core HR metrics/reports to present to the HR Committee
• Develop and review all HR policies and procedures aligned to best practise
• Manages the Medical Aid and Retirement administration and other relevant benefits
• Responsible for organisational design, define and organise the company structure. Development/ review of job profiles and conduct job evaluation or benchmarking
• Manage internal and external Stakeholder relationships
• Ensure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, Banks Act, Postbank Act, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, agreements, Corporate Governance, Delegation of Powers, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations, etc

Minimum Requirements…

Qualifications: B Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources Management. Honours’ degree in Human Resources (NQF 8) or related field will be advantageous.
• South African Remuneration Association (SARA) accreditation as Reward Specialist
• Experience: At least 6 – 8 Years’ experience in a similar role with at least 4 years on managerial level. Solid experience in compensation models and reward programs are essential
