A Personal Assistant to the Head of Crime and the Head of Major, Serious and Organised Crime is required for a Permanent Contract role paying up to £29,031.39 per annum, plus £2700 London Allowance per annum, with British Transport Police (CMS) based in London .
CMS is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As Junior Associate with CMS you will provide professional, efficient, proactive and confidential secretarial support, to the Head of Crime and the Head of Major, Serious and Organised Crime, and administrative assistance to their management team, carrying out general office duties.
As Junior Associate you will be required to:
Provide secretariat support for meetings with internal and external participants, prepare and issue agendas, attend, take, produce and circulate timely and accurate actions and maintain a comprehensive and continuing record of decisions made.
Responsible for maintaining a dashboard of actions allocated to the ACC, delegating tasks, tracking progress and providing updates on actions underway until action is completed within the deadline.
Receive, acknowledge, organise and reply to correspondence in a professional and timely manner and redirect as necessary.

Previous relevant PA/secretarial experience or extensive administrative experience.
Experience of scheduling meetings and events, preparing agendas and documentation, taking and drafting accurate minutes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
