 Aldar Jobs KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Carries out administrative duties including but not limited to, answering queries, attendance management, diary management, answering telephone calls, takes down and passes messages as directed
Takes dictation and transcribes material from shorthand.
Types, proofreads and distributes a variety of material such as letters, cables, reports and tabulations. Includes entering, amending and retrieving information, and performing security copying and archiving of documents.
Files correspondence and other records related to the activities of the Division. Maintains and updates files. Establishes and improves own filing system. Requisitions, maintains and distributes office stationery and supplies.
Translates documents/correspondences from English to Arabic or vice versa
Compiles or coordinates the compilation of data, and prepares in the form of reports, analysis, tabulations, etc. Distributes data as instructed. Drafts letters/memos and routine correspondence for supervisor’s signature. Screens outgoing correspondence before approval.
Arranges for meetings as instructed. Includes arranging conferences, visual aids and refreshments. May attend meetings to take minutes.
Receives sorts and distributes all incoming mail. Makes copies as needed and presents to supervisor. Prepares outgoing mail for dispatch. Maintains a proper register for incoming/outgoing mail. Ensures direct delivery of confidential material/mail.
Performs other similar or related duties as assigned, such as liaising with relevant internal and external parties; circulating correspondence and periodicals as instructed; etc.
Maintain the resources for stores and update the inventory to make a sure availability of resources for the school. Make orders for the resources when needed.

Aldar Jobs EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of Secondary School certificate

Aldar Jobs EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role in the region
Previous experience in the education sector is desirable

Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal

JOB PURPOSE

  • Responsible for formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to Aldar Projects, management and employees, that reflects the business objectives of Aldar Group.
  • Manage the implementation of HR policies and procedures for the verticals of Talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and learning & development, in alignment with Aldar Corporate PCP practices and guidelines.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment

  • Manage and facilitate the recruitment processes to ensure manpower targets are achieved as per the set plan supporting the business needs and anticipated projects.
  • Work in collaboration with Group Talent Acquisition team to ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in line to the Group policies, procedures and standards.

Employee Relations & Payroll

  • Manage and facilitate the payroll processes to ensure timely payment of salaries and other advances, i.e., housing advances, school claims, etc.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations’ issues, by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Manage and facilitate all employee-related activities i.e., disciplinary process, grievance, etc., in line to PC&P policies and standards.
  • Manage the contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance, through partnership with the legal department, as needed/required.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to staff, as and when required.

OD & PM

  • Support in the drafting of JDs for new positions for validation by the OD & PM team.
  • Facilitate the Performance management cycle and activities in conjunction with the Corporate OD & PM team.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Learning & Development

  • Facilitate the learning & development trainings & activities for staff in collaboration with the group Talent Transformation team.
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs of staff.
  • Work in collaboration with the Talent Transformation team in identifying training needs for staff and monitor its implementation.
  • Promote employee engagement through corporate events in conjunction with Corporate Talent Transformation team.

Outsourced Management:

  • Manage the outsourced staff and their related service provider payments on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with service providers on replacement and new hires as per the corporate direction.

Report To: Chief Finance and Transformation Officer

External Interaction: Aldar Corporate, Internal Clients, HR Consultants.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Provides guidance, input and oversight in the implementation of HR initiatives to Project teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Implements best in class HR initiatives aligned with ALDAR business needs to ensure a high engagement and a performance driven culture.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Regular working hours. (i.e., 100% Indoor Office / Off Site)

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE

  • Min of: 10+ years of experience in senior HR position within a leading regional organization.

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of: 2 years of managerial experience heading an HR department for a company with at least 400 employees.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

  • Human Resources, preferably private sector, real estate, or construction.
  • Strong exposure to all Human capital fields (L&D, PM, OD, ER, Recruitment)

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Track record in implementing P&P, development, and ER strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) to effectively engage across the different layers of the organization.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business management or human resources, CIPD, SPHR preferred.
