Financial institution is seeking an Office Mail Room Clerk. This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides full benefits to all employees after a 60 day probationary period that include 100% employer paid medical, dental and vision. The starting pay is up to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

The company is a financial investment company that receives a large volume of incoming mail. The Mail Clerk reports to the Department Manager. The ideal applicant will have experience working as a Mail Clerk, Copy Clerk or Scanning Clerk. The company will consider entry level applicants with limited work experience provided they meet certain skill requirements.

The Mail Clerk is responsible for opening all incoming mail, logging mail into company system; including scanning important documents into system. You will sort all mail into appropriate department bins or individuals and distribute daily. The role will require some lifting up to 25lbs unassisted. Data Entry and basic clerical duties are included in this task. You must be a team player who is comfortable working in a group atmosphere.

USPS Jobs Florida – The scope of the services encompasses a comprehensive range of support services to veterans throughout Orlando VA Medical Center corporate facilities. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Process all incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail) to include all overnight (express) mail by sorting, opening, date stamping, classifying, processing and routing the mail.
Meter outgoing mail is based on the category (i.e. certified, Certified with return receipt requested, Registered/ Insured with return receipt, overnight and Parcel) in accordance with VA and Postal Service regulations. All mail is safeguarded by the Mailroom staff until it is picked up by the U.S. Postal Service driver. Picks up outgoing and intra-office mail, reviews for completeness of addresses, regulations, and directives. Processes mail destined for foreign countries in accordance with international mail rates and rules.
Log each item to include destination, weight, and amount of postage. Maintains tracking log for all incoming certified, insured, registered, and overnight packages for accountability. Performed on a daily basis. Operates computer terminal to locate patients and employees.
Once noted that a patient or former employee is no longer located at the facility, the mail will be returned to sender (former employees must submit to the Postal Service a Change of Address by obtaining and completing the U.S.P.S. change of address kit).
Operates basic reproduction equipment to produce documents, single to double sided, color or black and white, booklets, brochures, tri-fold or bi-fold flyers, posters 11″ x 17″, etc.; and delivers completed copy work as directed. Required to order postal supplies from the U. S. Postal Service based on the needs of the unit. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have a valid driver’s license in order to operate a Government motor vehicle to drive to Main Clinic as well as satellite offices, such as Crossroads Annex, Metric Building and Lakemont Campus
