US Air force Jobs Requirements 

Before you visit your local job recruiter, be sure you are meeting with the minimum qualifications for serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Some qualifications are required by for US Air force recruiting services:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien.
  • Aspirants must be at least 17 years old (17-year old applicants require parental consent) to apply and in BMT before your 28th birthday.
  • Applicant must (with very few exceptions) have a high school diploma or meet the ASVAB qualifications to apply with a GED.

US Air force Jobs ASVAB Requirements

The Air Force has specific requirements when taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test. The ASVAB is used by the Air Force primarily for two purposes:

  1. to determine if you have the mental capability to be successful through basic training and other Air Force training programs, and
  2. to determine your aptitude for learning various Air Force jobs

ASVAB for USA Air force Jobs

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice exam, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (MEPS), which is used to determine eligibility for enlistment in the United States Air Force. In addition to determining eligibility, the exam also determines the jobs and bonus incentives available to you in the Air Force, so you will want to do your best when taking ASVAB.
